You probably won't be able to clean every square inch of your entire home in one day, so it is important to have a plan. Take a tour around the house to see which spaces need the most attention. You can schedule out different rooms or tasks as you have time - the whole process could be done over the course of several days or even weeks.

Windows, Floors & Baseboards
Time to let in the fresh spring air! Open up your windows and clean window sills, window tracks, and window treatments. Give your curtains a good dusting or drop them off at the dry cleaners for a more thorough cleaning. Sweep and wipe down hard surface floors and baseboards with an appropriate cleaner.

Bedrooms
When was the last time you cleaned your mattress? Strip and wash the sheets, vacuum all the surfaces, and target pesky stains with a spot-cleaner. Upholstered beds can also be vacuumed to clear away dust and allergens. Don't forget to clean under the bed, too!
Go through your closet and organize drawers and hanging items, and donate or sell any unused items.

Kitchen
Wipe down all countertops, appliances, and backsplashes. Scrub your stove top, inside the oven, and inside the microwave. Remove everything from the fridge and throw out old food, take out all the shelves so they can be cleaned. Clear out cabinets and wipe down shelves. Clean the garbage disposal by putting in two cups of ice and one cup of kosher salt, and run the disposal along with running cold water.

Living Room
Remove all the seat cushions and pillows from the sofa and use the upholstery attachment on your vacuum to clean everything. Be sure to get into all the nooks and crannies to clear out dust, pet hairs, and debris. Vacuum rugs, wipe down tables, the TV, media console, fireplace mantle, and wash throw blankets.
